PANAMA IS THE SURPRISE

 

Our country has become the star in Latinamerican economies. This is how local and international analysts, qualifiers, specialized publications and multilateral organisms recognized it.

 

The economist and partner of the firm Indesa, Marco Fernandez, reviewed yesterday all the elements that are currently making Panama stand out, while the powerful countries are caught in an unprecedented crisis.

 

“Panama is fine, we are growing, and we will continue to grow”, according to the economist while he talked to the members of the Association of Dealers of Securities Sellers, where he introduced his economic perspective of the next five-year period; he predicts a 4% rate of average growth.

 

He did an analysis of the economic plan of the current Government Administration, and according to his judgment is based on the development of projects, an ambitious investment plan, rather than public politics.

 

He pointed out the important foreign investment that Panama is having, mainly from Venezuela and Colombia.

 

He also said: “These investments have helped us push the growth”.

 

The Panamanian success is also recognized in other countries. The Argentinian analyst, Manuel Mora y Araujo, recently wrote in a specialized publication that “currently, Panama is the big surprise”, while reviewing the countries that have shined during different periods.
